HUGE SALT LAKE ENRIQUILLO
Two-day excursion to Lake Henriquillo on the border with Haiti. The lake is located in the western part of the Dominican Republic and is one of the few salt lakes in the world inhabited by crocodiles. In the middle of Lake Enriquillo there are three islands-Barbarita, Islita and Carbitos. There are crocodiles on the island of Cabritos. In addition to crocodiles, there are rare rhinoceros iguanas and thousands of birds, including red flamingos, herons and ibises.
